Senior Legal Counsel, Cloud Sales

Responsibilities

• Support the legal approach for GTM and Sales, translating business goals into executable legal priorities
• Negotiate, draft, and execute complex, high-visibility transactions including CSAs and MSAs
• Provide legal advice on cloud contract terms such as SLAs, indemnity, and data security
• Guide legal advice on AI infrastructure terms including usage-based consumption and performance guarantees
• Provide legal support and governance across direct sales, channel partners, and marketplace integrations
• Develop and maintain global legal playbooks and standardized templates to improve contracting efficiency
• Collaborate with specialized legal teammates on new Cloud service features and regulatory compliance

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active state bar membership in good standing
• 7+ years of progressive experience in the technology sector (Cloud/SaaS, Hardware, or On-Premise Software)
• Proven history of negotiating and closing high-impact commercial transactions
• Strong working knowledge of B2B commercial transactions and cloud software licensing
• Ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal advice

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting customers in AI/ML labs, enterprise SaaS, or GPU/data center infrastructure
• Proficiency with Ironclad (CLM) and Salesforce
