Senior Legal Counsel

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements for data center development, construction, and operation in Southeast Asia
• Lead contract negotiations with vendors, contractors, landlords, and customers
• Provide legal support to project, construction, procurement, and operations teams
• Develop contract templates, playbooks, and standard negotiating positions
• Conduct legal research and monitor regulatory developments in Singapore and Malaysia
• Manage external counsel and service providers

Requirements

• Law degree (LL.B., J.D., or equivalent)
• 8+ years of post-qualification legal experience
• Experience in a leading law firm and/or in-house corporate legal department
• Proven ability to lead negotiations on complex commercial agreements
• Familiarity with Singapore and/or Malaysia legal and regulatory requirements
• Strong commercial judgment and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Admission to the Singapore or Malaysia Bar, or another relevant common law jurisdiction
• Experience with data center, infrastructure, construction/EPC, real estate, energy, or technology transactions
