Senior Lecturer in Endodontics

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, coordination, and delivery of endodontics teaching within DDS, DCD, and continuing professional development programmes
• Provide high-quality clinical supervision to ensure safe, evidence-based endodontic care at the Royal Dental Hospital
• Develop and renew curriculum, assessment, and evaluation approaches to enhance student capability
• Supervise and coordinate clinical educators, fostering reflective teaching practices
• Engage in scholarly activity, partnerships, and service to advance endodontic education and School strategic priorities

Requirements

• Specialist AHPRA registration in Endodontics (without conditions affecting clinical supervision)
• Extensive contemporary clinical experience in Endodontics, including complex case management
• Excellence in clinical and classroom teaching, curriculum design, and assessment
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage resources effectively
• PhD (or willingness to obtain)
• Valid Working with Children Check and required radiation licence
