About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee and administer all types of employee leave programs including FMLA, ADA, and state-specific leaves
- Partner with Payroll to ensure accurate pay for employees on leave of absence
- Act as the main point of contact for leave vendors and third-party administrators
- Review, process, and track leave requests for accuracy and compliance
- Collaborate with employees and managers to manage ADA accommodation requests
- Conduct interactive discussions to determine reasonable accommodations
- Stay current on federal and state leave and accommodation laws
- Provide guidance and training to employees, managers, and HR Business Partners
- Generate reports and metrics related to leave usage and accommodation requests
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR with a focus on leave management and accommodations
- In-depth knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and federal/state leave laws
- Proficiency in Workday or other HRIS systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
