Senior Learning Experience Designer

Responsibilities

• Design polished, cohesive, and learner-centric learning experiences aligned with accessibility, UX, and visual design best practices.
• Apply human-centered design principles, empathy mapping, and learner personas to deeply understand user needs.
• Use iterative design and rapid prototyping to clarify requirements and adapt solutions.
• Lead design aspects of complex projects and provide mentorship to other designers.
• Partner with Portfolio Managers and stakeholders to ensure design execution aligns with business strategy and objectives.
• Utilize visual design principles including color, typography, and layout to create engaging, branded experiences.

Requirements

• Proven experience designing modern, technology-enabled learning experiences with strong visual design aesthetics.
• Proficiency in instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and cognitive science.
• Expertise in authoring tools and platforms including Articulate 360, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite, and LMS/LXP systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and present solutions confidently.
• A professional portfolio showcasing visually compelling learning experiences and creative design solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with emerging learning technologies and data-driven design approaches.
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript / Articulate Storyline JavaScript API.
• Knowledge of SCORM, AICC, and xAPI standards.
