About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation, review, and filing of all SEC reporting deliverables, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and earnings releases
  • Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements, footnotes, disclosures, and MD&A in accordance with U.S. GAAP
  • Manage the quarterly and annual SEC reporting calendar and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead technical accounting research and provide guidance on complex accounting matters and strategic transactions
  • Develop and maintain company accounting policies and technical accounting position papers
  • Oversee technical analyses related to revenue recognition, purchase accounting, goodwill, and derivatives
  • Manage and mentor a team of two professionals supporting SEC reporting and technical accounting functions
  • Partner with external auditors, Legal, Treasury, Tax, and Investor Relations to ensure compliance and process improvement

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s degree preferred)
  • Active CPA license
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience
  • Deep technical expertise in U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
  • Strong experience preparing and reviewing SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q)
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong understanding of SOX and internal control requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Combination of Big 4 public accounting and industry experience
  • Experience with Workiva
