Senior Lead, Technology Risk and Controls

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the planning and execution of technology risk and control assessments across infrastructure, applications, cloud, SaaS, data, and cybersecurity domains.
• Identify control gaps, emerging risks, and systemic issues, articulating root cause and impact to senior stakeholders.
• Serve as a risk advisor to technology and cybersecurity leaders, providing practical guidance to strengthen control maturity.
• Manage the technology risk treatment lifecycle, including risk identification, assessment, documentation, and monitoring of remediation.
• Oversee the lifecycle of technology control issues to ensure timely remediation and readiness for audit review.
• Support regulatory exams, internal audits, and independent risk assessments by providing high-quality evidence and coordinated responses.

Requirements

• 10–12 years of experience in Technology Risk Management, IT Audit, Cybersecurity Risk, or Controls Assurance.
• Bachelor’s degree in technology, information systems, cybersecurity, risk management, or a related discipline.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CRISC, or CGEIT.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex risk information to senior stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working within the financial services industry.
