Senior Lead - Technology Risk and Control - BAU Standards

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the evolution of technology and cybersecurity control standards to ensure alignment with risk, regulatory, and business needs.
• Lead the design and quality assurance of mappings between control standards and global regulatory and industry frameworks.
• Act as a primary liaison for technology, cybersecurity, and risk teams to improve the adoption and implementation of standards.
• Oversee governance and committee engagement, including the development of senior-management-level materials and tracking follow-up actions.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and subject-matter leadership to team members to ensure quality and professional development.
• Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives across team processes, documentation, and knowledge management.
• Influence decision-making across technology teams to reduce risk exposure and strengthen the overall risk management culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in technology, cybersecurity, risk management, or a related field.
• 10–12+ years of progressive experience in technology risk management, cybersecurity, controls, or audit.
• Advanced expertise in technology and cybersecurity risks, including resiliency, SDLC, ITSM, SaaS, cloud, and AI.
• Strong working knowledge of global regulatory and industry control frameworks such as NIST, FFIEC, or ISO.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise GRC platforms, such as ServiceNow.
• Proven ability to communicate complex risk concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong project and program management skills with the ability to drive cross-functional initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating within a global financial services environment.
• Relevant professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CRISC, or CISM.
