Senior Lead Specialist – Purchasing Controlling Analytics

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement regional sourcing strategies to build a competitive supplier base within the China region.
• Analyze market trends, competitor benchmarking, and regulatory changes to enhance competitiveness and supplier development.
• Drive supplier innovation by identifying emerging technologies and alternative sourcing opportunities.
• Evaluate annual spending dynamics by commodity and provide detailed purchasing statistics and analysis to support management decisions.
• Lead new supplier development activities, including identification, evaluation, and onboarding to ensure compliance with quality, cost, and sustainability standards.
• Define and drive the "Good Enough Supplier" approach from concept to implementation in alignment with Supplier Quality and Commodity teams.
• Track and report on purchasing KPIs, sourcing activities, and risk management to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in Automotive electronics purchasing functions.
• Proven expertise in Strategic Sourcing, Commodity Management, and Program Purchasing Management.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a global, cross-functional environment and influence stakeholders and external suppliers.
