Senior Lead Software Engineering - AI/ML Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable, resilient, and market-leading AI/ML data solutions using technologies like Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, and Kubernetes.
• Drive the adoption and governance of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes.
• Coordinate production incident management, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective resolutions.
• Implement automation tools to reduce toil and improve efficiency across the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Mentor team members to foster professional growth and drive strategic technical change.
• Engage in operational stability, disaster recovery planning, and risk control compliance.

Requirements

• Proficient in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) culture and principles.
• Experience managing production incident calls and resolution processes.
• Expertise in observability tools such as Grafana, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Datadog, or Splunk.
• Strong understanding of SLI/SLO/SLA, Error Budgets, and telemetry collection.
• Proficiency in Python or PySpark for AI/ML modeling.
• Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools.
• Hands-on experience in system design, resiliency testing, and disaster recovery planning.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in an SRE or production support role specifically with AWS Cloud, Databricks, or Snowflake.
• AWS and Databricks certifications.
• Advanced knowledge of AI/ML troubleshooting and incident resolution.
• Familiarity with budgetary and staffing optimization.
