Senior Lead Software Engineer - Mobile iOS

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy production-grade native iOS mobile applications to solve complex business use cases.
• Lead and provide technical guidance to a team of software engineers, setting expectations for output and collaboration.
• Drive the adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure work aligns with compliance standards and business requirements.
• Apply advanced agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security protocols.
• Work at the code level while managing technologists and anticipating cross-team dependencies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of applied software engineering experience with formal training or certification.
• Extensive experience in large-scale native iOS mobile application development.
• Expert knowledge of Swift and SwiftUI frameworks and APIs.
• Proficiency in design patterns including MVC, MVVM, and Clean Architecture.
• Strong understanding of Data Structures, Type Conversions, and Multi-Threading.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as XCTest.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems (e.g., Jenkins, Xcode Server) and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with API integration, distributed systems, security, and persistence solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technologists and manage complex technical domains.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Knowledge of Combine, Networking, accessibility, and dynamically themed UI design.
• Strong communication skills with experience managing diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to coach and guide teams toward strategic organizational initiatives.
