Senior Lead Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop secure, high-quality production code and provide technical guidance to business teams, contractors, and vendors
• Drive the adoption and governance of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes
• Lead decisions influencing product design, application functionality, and technical operations
• Serve as a subject matter expert in technical disciplines such as cloud, AI, or machine learning
• Apply knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) toolchain and automation to improve value at scale
• Contribute to the engineering community by advocating for firmwide frameworks and leading-edge technologies

Requirements

• 5+ years of applied software engineering experience
• Advanced proficiency in Python and/or Java
• Extensive experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, data lakes, and AWS S3
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications using AWS services (EMR, EKS, ECS, EC2)
• Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools
• Deep familiarity with enterprise logging and monitoring platforms such as Splunk, Datadog, or CloudWatch
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
