Senior Lead Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and direction to business teams, contractors, and vendors
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and perform rigorous code reviews and debugging
• Drive decisions regarding product design, application functionality, and technical operations
• Serve as a subject matter expert in cloud, AI, and machine learning technologies
• Lead the adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed
• Advocate for firmwide frameworks, tools, and best practices within the Software Development Life Cycle

Requirements

• 14+ years of applied software engineering experience
• Extensive experience in system design, application development, and testing
• Strong proficiency in Python API development
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud-native solutions
• Expertise in SaaS platform engineering
• Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools
• Academic background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field

Preferred Qualifications

• Practical experience in Databricks administration and pipeline development
• Proficiency in Terraform with at least 10 years of experience
