Senior Lead Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop secure, high-quality production code and perform code reviews with a focus on cloud-based systems using AWS and Python.
• Implement and optimize RAG-based semantic search and LLM inference workflows using OpenAI and Claude models.
• Drive technical decisions influencing product design, application functionality, and technical operations.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in cloud deployment and AI technologies.
• Drive the adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes.
• Contribute to the engineering community by advocating for firmwide frameworks, tools, and SDLC practices.

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in Python programming.
• Hands-on experience with Java and delivering system design, application development, and testing.
• Practical cloud-native experience, specifically with AWS.
• Advanced knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and implementing cloud-based AI solutions.
• Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use, including data sensitivity and secure handling of inputs/outputs.
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with RAG-based semantic search and LLM inference workflows using OpenAI and Claude models.
• Proven track record of proposing solutions independently and owning execution end-to-end in an individual contributor role.
