Senior Lead Software Engineer - Java - Global Liquidity Portfolio Management Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

• Engineer high-quality, elegant code for industry-leading liquidity management platforms
• Drive the adoption and governance of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve delivery speed and code quality
• Apply AI-assisted development and automation capabilities across the SDLC toolchain
• Work directly with traders and portfolio managers to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Focus on continuous improvement and fast, iterative delivery within an agile environment

Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of Core Java (17+)
• Proficiency in TDD (Test Driven Development) and BDD (Behavior Driven Development) techniques
• Strong understanding of Java IOC frameworks such as Spring or Guice
• Experience with next-generation messaging and streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Solace, or Ignite)
• Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools
• Deep understanding of responsible AI use, including data sensitivity, security, and validation of AI outputs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience innovating AI solutions to generate revenue or improve end-user experiences
• Ability to coach senior engineers on compliant and effective AI usage patterns
• A mindset focused on creative thinking and continuous technical innovation
