Senior Lead Software Engineer Full Stack - Java/React

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and direction to business teams, contractors, and vendors
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and perform code reviews and debugging
• Drive decisions regarding product design, application functionality, and technical operations
• Serve as a subject matter expert in specific technical focus areas
• Advocate for firmwide frameworks, tools, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices
• Influence peers and decision-makers to adopt leading-edge technologies

Requirements

• 5+ years of applied software engineering experience
• Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java/React preferred)
• Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, or troubleshooting
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use, including data sensitivity and security
• Practical experience with cloud-native technologies
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in financial services or highly regulated environments
• Exposure to AWS services such as Lambda, S3, and RDS
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Experience with automated testing frameworks like Jest, Cypress, or JUnit
• Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and performance optimization
• Exposure to AI/ML concepts or tools
