Senior Lead Software Engineer, Distributed Systems

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers focused on distributed microservices and full stack systems.
• Build and deploy robust cloud-based solutions and AI/ML platforms to meet regulatory and customer needs.
• Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver powerful experiences that drive financial empowerment.
• Mentor members of the engineering community and stay at the forefront of emerging technology trends.
• Utilize a modern tech stack including Golang, Python, Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS to build scalable systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• At least 6 years of experience in software engineering.
• At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in a technical field.
• 9+ years of experience in Python, Golang, or Node.js.
• 4+ years of experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and open source frameworks.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience deploying and managing large-scale applications on Kubernetes.
• 1+ years of people management experience.
• 2+ years of experience with ML platforms such as Amazon SageMaker or Databricks.
• Experience leveraging interactive AI tooling to accelerate productivity.
