Senior Lead Software Engineer - C++

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement low-latency electronic trading systems, including Smart Order Routers, Matching Engines, Market Access, and Risk Management systems.
• Continuously develop and enhance trading strategies to adapt to market changes and client feedback.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to maintain high-quality software delivery.
• Lead and follow Agile methodologies and principles within an engineering environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of applied software engineering experience.
• Advanced proficiency in C++ (C++14 concepts).
• Expertise in multi-threaded and concurrent programming.
• Proven experience in ultra-low latency application development.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix, including an understanding of OS and kernel architecture.
• Advanced knowledge of system architecture, design, and business processes.
• Knowledge of market data distribution and order management systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with kernel tuning and low-level system programming.
• Familiarity with modern Continuous Integration (CI) development practices and the full SDLC.
• Exposure to or ability to learn Java and Cloud Technologies.
• Experience with Python and Perl.
• Knowledge of Multi-Asset Electronic Trading (Equities, Futures, and Options) and exchange connectivity.
