About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic guidance and technical expertise to business lines to integrate security into the early design stages of technological solutions.
- Conduct comprehensive security assessments and provide quality assurance on threat modeling.
- Design and recommend security controls to protect applications and infrastructure across domains such as Cloud Security, IAM, and Data Protection.
- Review architecture and solution design documentation to identify and assess potential risks.
- Ensure security solutions align with industry regulations and organizational compliance requirements.
- Stay updated on emerging information security trends and propose improvements to the current security posture.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 5 years of hands-on technical experience performing threat risk assessments on complex applications and network environments.
- At least 6 years of experience in security solution architecture, software development, or implementing security controls.
- Proven experience leading complex projects and providing security advisory services.
- Solid knowledge of cloud technologies (GCP, Azure, or AWS) and cloud security.
- Proficiency with Kubernetes, IAM, CI/CD pipelines, and Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).
- Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks including NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or CRISC.
- Cloud-oriented certifications from Google, Microsoft, or AWS.
