Senior/Lead Machine Learning Scientist

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and maintenance of machine learning models to solve complex business problems
• Deliver end-to-end cutting-edge solutions using cloud-native microservices architecture
• Mentor and develop the technical skills of junior colleagues through training and guidance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data-driven business opportunities
• Analyze large, heterogeneous datasets to extract actionable insights
• Stay updated with advancements in machine learning, specifically Large Language Models (LLMs) and agentic systems
• Implement state-of-the-art solutions as clean, production-ready code
• Communicate findings and recommendations through clear reports and presentations

Requirements

• Experience leading teams to deliver production-grade machine learning solutions
• Proficiency in Python and SQL with strong software engineering practices
• Extensive experience developing and testing ML solutions using TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
• Solid intuitive grasp of probability, statistics, linear algebra, and calculus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A collaborative, humble, and enthusiastic professional attitude

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience deploying on AWS cloud infrastructure (Lambda, Glue, S3, etc.)
• Deep expertise in deep neural networks and recent developments in the field
• Experience with LLM fine-tuning and continuous learning techniques
• Proficiency in prompt engineering and state-of-the-art LLM architectures
