Senior Lead Infrastructure Engineer - Capacity Management

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end Capacity Management strategy and operating model for critical Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) applications.
• Lead cross-functional capacity planning and risk management across Application, Infrastructure, and SRE teams.
• Architect and implement scalable, resilient solutions to modernize capacity processes, data flows, and tooling.
• Advance observability and analytics by designing consolidated dashboards, real-time KPIs, and SLA-backed alerting.
• Drive automation through the implementation of governed runbooks for headroom uplift, load throttling, and pool rebalancing.
• Produce executive-ready reporting to communicate portfolio status, risks, and technical recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop engineers while maintaining high standards for documentation and operational excellence.

Requirements

• 5+ years of applied infrastructure engineering experience with demonstrated leadership of complex, cross-functional programs.
• Proven expertise in managing or governing technology capacity at an enterprise scale.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure KPIs including CPU, memory, I/O, and network performance.
• Hands-on experience with observability and analytics tools such as Grafana, Dynatrace, or ELK.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Go, or JavaScript to automate data pipelines.
• Experience with cloud environments, specifically AWS, including designing and deploying scalable infrastructure.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills to influence decisions across diverse teams.
