Senior Lead - Footwear Costing

Responsibilities

• Support the Head of Footwear Costing in driving strategic direction and costing projects
• Maximize margin opportunities through costing standardization and strategic implementation
• Lead high-stakes price negotiations and build strategic partnerships with key manufacturers
• Deliver customized costing training to Creation and Sourcing teams to drive cost consciousness
• Contribute to margin maximization via costing engineering, pattern efficiency, and material cost strategy
• Drive system and process enhancements for costing automation and efficiency
• Act as a gatekeeper for costing manuals, standards, and policies, including leading costing audits
• Lead, mentor, and develop individual team members

Requirements

• University degree in business, economics, accounting, or engineering
• 7+ years of experience working at a premium footwear brand
• Technical knowledge of product construction and manufacturing methods
• Advanced project management and storytelling skills
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong price negotiation skills and analytical mindset
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in a cross-cultural environment
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
