Senior Lead Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of electrical systems for oil and gas, power, and renewable energy projects
• Manage and lead large engineering teams, providing mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers
• Develop and review project Scope of Services, Scope of Facilities, and other baseline documents
• Perform and review complex engineering calculations, including Power System Studies using ETAP/SKM
• Prepare Material Requisitions, perform offer evaluations, and conduct vendor drawing reviews and FAT for major electrical equipment
• Establish, track, and monitor material key quantities and provide analysis and forecasts
• Develop and deliver technical training on various engineering topics
• Manage project set-up, including control-level schedules, progress reporting, and workforce forecasting

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
• Minimum 20 years of experience in Oil & Gas or large-scale industrial projects
• Expert knowledge of electrical equipment including MV/LV Switchgears, transformers, and UPS
• Proficiency in developing overall power distribution schemes and SLDs for large industrial projects
• Proficiency in Power System Studies using ETAP or SKM
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Word)
• Strong communication skills to interact with management, clients, vendors, and stakeholders

• Experience working in a multi-cultural environment
• Practical field experience
