Senior Lead - Distribution Procurement Category Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive category strategies for global warehousing and distribution services
• Lead complex RFPs and sourcing events for 3PL providers
• Drive end-to-end contract negotiations focusing on TCO and SLAs
• Support procurement of automation and technology solutions like robotics and MHE
• Collaborate on business cases for new node entries and facility expansions
• Establish Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) frameworks
• Manage procurement of indirect warehouse needs including temporary labor and packaging
• Create standardized reporting tools to track category spend and vendor performance
• Facilitate strategic alignment meetings with Supply Chain, Finance, and IT leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic procurement, category management, or specialized logistics
• Expert proficiency with MS Office applications
• Experience with sourcing tools such as Ariba or Coupa
• Deep understanding of the warehousing and 3PL landscape
• Strong analytical skills for building data-driven business cases
• Knowledge of procurement best practices and contract law
