About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide credit risk oversight and management for Healthcare and Sponsor-owned relationships within Commercial Banking Specialized Industries
- Maintain credit quality and portfolio health through informed risk guidance, recommendations, and approvals
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of bank credit policy, regulatory standards, and risk rating applicability
- Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex loan transactions and unique credit challenges
- Provide leadership and guidance to teams regarding due diligence and analytical focus, particularly in M&A financing and complex healthcare deals
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and achieve organizational goals
- Review pipeline activity regularly to manage deadlines and client expectations
Requirements
- 7+ years of Credit Risk experience
- Strong credit analysis skills
- Experience with credit underwriting and approval processes
- Understanding of capital markets and complex organizational/capital structures
- BS/BA degree in accounting, finance, or economics (or equivalent experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Specific experience in Healthcare industry or financial sponsor lending
- Ability to influence successfully within a matrix environment
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Experience partnering and influencing at the executive level
