Senior Lead Credit Risk & Approval Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide credit risk oversight and management for Healthcare and Sponsor-owned relationships within Commercial Banking Specialized Industries
• Maintain credit quality and portfolio health through informed risk guidance, recommendations, and approvals
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of bank credit policy, regulatory standards, and risk rating applicability
• Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex loan transactions and unique credit challenges
• Provide leadership and guidance to teams regarding due diligence and analytical focus, particularly in M&A financing and complex healthcare deals
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and achieve organizational goals
• Review pipeline activity regularly to manage deadlines and client expectations

Requirements

• 7+ years of Credit Risk experience
• Strong credit analysis skills
• Experience with credit underwriting and approval processes
• Understanding of capital markets and complex organizational/capital structures
• BS/BA degree in accounting, finance, or economics (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Qualifications

• Specific experience in Healthcare industry or financial sponsor lending
• Ability to influence successfully within a matrix environment
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Experience partnering and influencing at the executive level
