Senior Lead Architect, Product Architecture

Responsibilities

• Represent a product family of technical governance bodies and propose improvements to architecture governance practices
• Guide the evaluation of current and emerging technologies using existing standards and frameworks
• Provide technical guidance and direction to business teams, contractors, and vendors
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and perform code reviews and debugging
• Drive decisions influencing product design, application functionality, and technical operations
• Serve as a subject matter expert in specific technical disciplines to support innovation and scalability
• Advocate for firmwide frameworks, tools, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices

Requirements

• 5+ years of applied software engineering experience with formal training or certification
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages and software architecture
• Practical experience with cloud-native technologies
• Ability to solve complex design and functionality problems independently
• Deep knowledge in technical disciplines such as cloud, AI, machine learning, or mobile

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with large-scale distributed systems
• Familiarity with financial services technology and regulatory requirements
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams or complex projects
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and automation tools
• Knowledge of security best practices within software architecture
