Senior Layout Designer

Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare multi-dimensional semiconductor layouts and detailed drawings from schematics
• Lead major block developments and product revisions in a globally distributed design environment
• Organize and prioritize logistics and resource allocations to meet scheduled deadlines
• Contribute to technical innovation and the development of automation to improve layout efficiency
• Collaborate with functional groups including TD, design, verification, and CAD to ensure data integrity
• Perform root-cause analysis to debug problems and implement efficient solutions

Requirements

• AS or AAS in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 10 years of direct experience in semiconductor layout design
• Deep working knowledge of EDA tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Synopsys, and Calibre
• Proficiency in custom layout, floor-planning, signal-planning, and power-planning methodologies
• Strong physical verification analysis and debugging skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
