Senior Landscape Architect

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical and aesthetic design quality for diverse projects including urban spaces, residential, commercial, and public parks.
• Prepare full technical packages from Concept Design through to Tender and Construction Contract Documentation.
• Determine practical technical solutions for hardscapes, softscapes, and streetscapes.
• Review CAD drawings, renderings, and construction documents to ensure compliance with applicable codes and client requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to lower-level Landscape Architects and designers.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams including Master Planners, Engineers, and Architects.
• Assist in project proposals, including technical write-ups, resourcing assessments, and scope development.
• Develop maintenance plans for completed sites and manage material/equipment specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in the landscape field with increasing levels of responsibility.
• Proven experience managing landscape teams or groups within an architecture/engineering firm or client side.
• Proficiency in landscape design standards, practices, and public realm techniques.
• Strong expertise in Horticulture, softscape, landscape planting, and irrigation design.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Experience in client-facing communication and project management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience transitioning between BIM-based design processes and 2D delivery.
• Ability to manage multiple landscape design projects and design teams simultaneously.
