Senior Lab Technician

Responsibilities

• Execute, organize, and coordinate quality controls on raw materials and finished products
• Register and manage quality data, prepare certificates, and ensure full traceability
• Calibrate and maintain measuring equipment to ensure reliable test results
• Develop and implement new testing methods for new products
• Support the creation and maintenance of work instructions, specifications, and quality documents
• Guide, train, and support fellow technicians and new employees
• Assist the QC-QA manager in analyzing historical data regarding customer complaints
• Provide data for KPI calculations to support performance measurement and continuous improvement
• Report progress, deviations, and improvement points to the QC Manager

Requirements

• Bachelor or A2 level in a scientific field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of laboratory experience, including 3 years as an assistant technician and 2 years in QC
• Thorough knowledge of production processes, standard testing, and injection molding
• Proficiency in both Dutch and English (reading, speaking, and writing)
• Strong PC skills, including experience with SAP (ERP), MS Office, and LIMS systems
• Willingness to undergo Six Sigma training
• Strong critical thinking, quality awareness, and a proactive approach to safety
