Senior Lab Operations Associate

Responsibilities

• Manage the Lab Operations ticket queue and coordinate day-to-day laboratory support activities
• Maintain operational documentation, inventories, and laboratory operating procedures
• Oversee consumable inventory management and replenishment processes
• Coordinate facility maintenance, vendor scheduling, and equipment preventive maintenance
• Manage equipment lifecycle activities including installation, calibration, and repair
• Coordinate EHS activities, chemical inventory, and hazardous waste management
• Provide training, guidance, and daily work assignment coordination for the Lab Technician

Requirements

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of laboratory operations, facilities, or research support experience in biotech, pharma, or academic research
• Experience coordinating vendors, contractors, and equipment service providers
• Experience maintaining laboratory inventories and equipment records
• Proficiency with Google Workspace
• Ability to lift 40 lbs without assistance
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation for facility alarms

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, engineering, or a related scientific discipline
• Experience in a high-growth biotechnology company
• Experience with EHS programs and hazardous waste management
• Experience with project management platforms or ticketing systems
• Experience using Prendio, Adobe Acrobat, or Lucid Chart
• Experience supervising or training laboratory support personnel
