About the role

Responsibilities

  • Coach and oversee Lab Analysts, setting priorities and coordinating day-to-day activities within the discipline.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) during technical discussions with regulatory professionals and inspectors.
  • Identify and implement improvements to existing work processes and products.
  • Solve complex technical problems and lead safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Write highly technical documents and investigations.
  • Review and approve data generated by team members.
  • Represent Analytical Quality Control in cross-functional and site product meetings.
  • Support regulatory filings and interact with auditors during inspections.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 0+ years of experience; OR an Associate's degree with 4 years of experience; OR a High School diploma with 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in multiple lab groups or pharmaceutical experience (e.g., bioburden, BET, sterility, bioassay, or complex chromatography).
  • Experience in microbiological, chemical, and/or biochemical method development and validations.
  • Technical expertise in instruments such as Spectroscopy, HPLC, GC, Atomic Absorption, ELISA, Western Blot, or Slot Blot.
  • Advanced mathematical and scientific data analysis skills for processing and interpreting results.
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience using analytical HPLC (High Pressure Liquid Chromatography) techniques.
  • Track record of leading continuous improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Strong statistical analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using generative AI tools to support problem-solving and enhance productivity.
