Senior Key Account Manager

Responsibilities

• Promote the safe and effective use of Vertex's Cystic Fibrosis (CF) portfolio in accordance with product labels
• Develop and execute insight-driven, account-level business plans for CF centers in South Germany
• Engage with a wide variety of key healthcare stakeholders to ensure patients have access to breakthrough treatments
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the CF environment, including disease patterns, reimbursement, and barriers to care
• Coordinate internal and external resources to enhance patient care and meet account plan targets
• Collaborate across functional areas to achieve regional and national performance goals
• Manage promotional activities, forecasting, and tracking of promotional budgets

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, pharmacy, medicine, or equivalent pharmaceutical training
• Strong field experience within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry
• Fluency in both German and English (oral and written)
• Proven contextual selling skills and ability to communicate scientific data to diverse audiences
• Strong project management and IT capabilities
• Ability to travel up to 70% within the assigned territory
