Senior Java Fullstack Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop intuitive software using modern Agile methodologies in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Perform full-stack application development using advanced OO programming and design patterns
• Deliver reusable UI components, advanced scripting solutions, and complex business application implementations
• Take ownership of assigned development tasks with minimal guidance
• Follow best practices for test-driven development and QA automation integration
• Provide performant solutions for large-scale applications

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development
• Proficiency in Core Java 1.8+, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture
• 5+ years of experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Ajax
• Experience building cloud-based solutions in AWS or Azure
• Proficiency with relational databases and SQL
• Deep experience in RESTful service design and implementation
• Experience with Linux and shell script development

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of DevOps tools including BitBucket, JIRA, and Bamboo
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Docker
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and asynchronous programming
• Experience with web security and proxy servers
• Experience with life science and/or healthcare related data
