Senior Java Full Stack Developer (with React)

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full application development lifecycle for Java applications, microservices, and reusable components
• Design and deliver front-to-back technical solutions and integrate them into business processes
• Leverage design patterns, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) to build reliable software
• Engage in hands-on coding, code reviews, and architectural decision-making
• Work within an Agile Systems Development Life Cycle to support cloud-based compliance archive products
• Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to support GCP cloud migrations for a global investment bank

Requirements

• 7-10 years of experience as a Java Full Stack Developer with React
• 5+ years of experience developing with Core Java and the Spring Framework
• 4+ years of experience developing with React and JavaScript
• Proficiency with Java 8, 11, and 17
• Experience with Kafka or other messaging systems
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and data structures
• Experience with containerization solutions such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Proficiency with build tools (Maven, Gradle) and version control (Git)
• Experience with CI/CD systems like Jenkins or TeamCity
• Upper-Intermediate English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Banking or Financial Services domain
• Knowledge of GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and cloud-native services (GCE, GKE, CloudSQL)
• Experience with Terraform module coding
