Senior Java Developer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise-grade Java and Spring Boot applications using clean architecture principles
• Build and maintain REST APIs and microservices focused on performance, scalability, and security
• Develop and enhance Databricks and Apache Spark pipelines for scalable batch data processing
• Implement efficient data transformation, ingestion, and validation logic to ensure high data quality
• Optimize Spark jobs and cloud resources for cost-effective and high-performing solutions
• Collaborate in Agile/DevOps environments to support sprint planning, development, and production releases

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of enterprise development experience
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and Apache Spark
• Experience deploying and managing solutions on AWS
• Solid understanding of microservices, software design patterns, and clean architecture
• Strong SQL and data processing skills
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and DevOps practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in banking or regulated technology environments
• Exposure to AI/ML use cases or data platforms supporting analytics
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization
• Familiarity with data governance and quality frameworks
• Strong banking domain knowledge
