Senior Java Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, highly available Java microservices using Spring Boot
• Build and enhance identity and access management services, including OAuth workflows and user lifecycle management
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform
• Contribute to the architecture and modernization of a large-scale SaaS platform
• Write and maintain automated tests to ensure high code quality
• Troubleshoot issues across the software stack and provide production support
• Participate in an on-call rotation approximately twice per week

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Java development, Spring Boot, and microservices
• Experience designing and supporting highly available, scalable backend systems
• Hands-on experience with database design and query optimization
• Experience with public cloud platforms (GCP preferred, AWS, or Azure)
• Experience with production ownership and incident response
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of IAM concepts (SSO, OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect)
• Experience with Okta or other IAM platforms
• Experience with distributed databases like CockroachDB or Cassandra
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform
