Senior Java Developer

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex software components using modern Java technologies.
• Apply software architecture principles and design patterns to build robust, scalable systems.
• Guide and mentor junior and mid-level developers through code reviews and joint implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional, international teams across different geographies.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle using Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
• Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, and security.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments in cloud and on-prem environments.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
• Participation in at least 3 successful customer projects.
• Proven experience designing non-trivial software components.
• Demonstrated experience applying design patterns and architectural principles.
• Experience leading or mentoring development teams.
• Proficiency in Spring/Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Maven/Jenkins/GIT.
• Experience with containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and REST APIs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka or ActiveMQ.
• Familiarity with various database technologies including PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Experience with Industrial IoT (IIoT) or factory digitalization projects.
