Senior Java Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot
• Implement microservices-based architecture and build robust RESTful APIs
• Apply strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS) principles to ensure clean and maintainable code
• Integrate applications with relational and key-value databases
• Work with index-based databases to optimize performance and search capabilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, DevOps, QA, and product teams
• Ensure application performance, security, and scalability
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting of production issues
• Work with cloud platforms or data warehousing tools for deployment and data management
• Contribute to architecture discussions and technical decision-making

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in software development
• Strong proficiency in Java and Core Java concepts
• Solid understanding of OOPS and design patterns
• Hands-on experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot
• Experience building Microservices architecture
• Strong experience with REST API development and integration
• Experience with index-based databases (such as Elasticsearch or similar)
• Good understanding of Relational Databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• Experience with Key-Value Databases (Redis, DynamoDB, etc.)
• Exposure to Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) or Data Warehousing tools
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
