Senior Java Backend Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot
• Implement microservices and event-driven architectures
• Participate in all application lifecycle phases including design, development, testing, and production
• Set up and improve CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality delivery
• Ensure product quality through automated testing, test coverage, Sonar, and SOLID principles
• Perform evolutionary maintenance on existing applications
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices within an Agile SCRUM methodology

Requirements

• Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Over 7 years of experience in Java
• Proven experience with high-volume distributed systems
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture
• Experience with relational and/or document-oriented databases
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD
• Proficiency with Git and Agile SCRUM
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a team
• Fluent communication in French

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the retail or large-scale distribution industry
