Senior Java Application Developer

Responsibilities

• Define high-level technical requirements and architecture for back-end services
• Develop new application features and enhance existing ones within a microservices architecture
• Create relevant technical documentation and architectural diagrams
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for deployment, testing, training, and production support
• Integrate services with front-end development components
• Ensure all development adheres to strict coding, privacy, and security standards

Requirements

• Extensive experience with Core Java 11+ and JEE technologies (concurrency, JDBC, Spring, Hibernate/JPA)
• Strong proficiency in Object-Oriented design and code refactoring
• Proven experience with data modeling and database development using SQL and PL/SQL
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and Kubernetes
• Ability to write clean, high-quality, and maintainable code
• Strong communication skills and professional work ethics

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with functional and reactive programming (FRP)
• Knowledge of messaging systems such as RabbitMQ or Kafka
• Experience with Redis and WebSockets
• Familiarity with GenAI developer tools like CoPilot or Claude Code
