Senior IT Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality technical IT support, advice, and guidance to staff, students, and head office employees
• Manage IT support tickets via the Service Management system, ensuring ownership and timely resolution
• Re-route or escalate support tickets to appropriate teams as necessary
• Identify, implement, and document workarounds for desktop-related problems in the Knowledgebase
• Perform root cause analysis on recurring IT incidents
• Notify key contacts within the Federation and assigned academies upon detection of major service incidents

Requirements

• Excellent spoken and written communication skills
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint
• Experience with Apple OS and other desktop software products
• Ability to self-manage, organise, and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work as a roaming technician across multiple academy sites
