Senior IT Technician

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments (2008-2022)
• Manage Active Directory, including users, groups, GPOs, and permissions
• Maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, switches, routers, firewalls, and Wi-Fi networks
• Provide technical support and administration for Symphony POS and Oracle Hospitality OPERA PMS
• Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint
• Provide Level 1–3 technical support to hotel staff for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
• Maintain antivirus, endpoint protection, and regular backup testing

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of IT support experience within a hospitality environment
• Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server (2008 through 2022)
• Solid knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and Group Policy
• Proficiency in networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, VLANs, and firewalls
• Experience supporting Symphony POS and Opera PMS
• Experience administering Microsoft 365
• Ability to work in a 24/7 hospitality support environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with backup solutions and disaster recovery planning
• Knowledge of virtualization platforms like VMware or Hyper-V
• Basic scripting knowledge using PowerShell
• Relevant IT certifications such as Microsoft or CompTIA Network+
