Senior IT Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, administration, and optimization of core SaaS platforms including Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, and Atlassian
• Own end-to-end support, monitoring, and troubleshooting of applications and complex system interconnections
• Architect and advance the workforce Identity and Access Management (IAM) program
• Serve as a subject matter expert providing strategic technical guidance for system scalability
• Drive automation of manual and repetitive processes to enhance operational efficiency
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience administering SaaS applications in high-growth environments
• 4+ years of experience with n8n, Okta Workflows, or other iPaaS platforms
• Expert knowledge of IAM protocols including SSO, SAML, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, and SCIM
• Strong experience designing and working with APIs for custom integrations
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Terraform
• Administrative experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud platforms
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation

Preferred Qualifications

• Okta certifications (Professional, Administrator, or Consultant)
• Google Workspace certifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
