Senior IT System Architect

Responsibilities

• Develop and evolve sustainable architecture strategies using future-proof technologies
• Participate actively in the Axpo Systems AG Architecture Board
• Design complex system landscapes and integrate them into existing operational processes
• Provide technical leadership and solution designs within cross-functional project teams (Network, Security, Infrastructure)
• Apply and develop architecture standards while continuously optimizing infrastructure
• Advise and mentor engineering and operations teams on solution concepts
• Support critical incidents with technical expertise to promote long-term solutions

Requirements

• Several years of experience in designing and implementing business-critical IT infrastructures
• Holistic understanding of IT and OT architectures and their functional separation
• Proven leadership experience in technical projects
• Ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly to specialists and executives
• Experience working with agile methodologies such as Scrum or SAFe
• Strong communication, teamwork, and mentoring skills
• University or Fachhochschule degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a comparable field
• Very good German language skills (minimum C1 level)
