Senior IT Support Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide tier 1-3 and some tier 4 support to employees
• Configure, maintain, and support IT hardware including user laptops, desktops, and lab computers
• Install and configure software according to specifications
• Maintain and troubleshoot local networks
• Set up new printers for office and lab environments
• Plan and work on special projects
• Assist with employee onboarding
• Manage inventory of IT assets and supplies
• Create and document processes
• Mentor and train less-senior staff

Requirements

• College degree or equivalent work experience
• 4+ years of IT experience
• IT support/helpdesk experience with Windows and Mac in an AD environment
• Extensive Mac experience
• Device management and MDM experience
• Administration of Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Adobe Acrobat, 1Password, Jira, and VPN
• Excellent troubleshooting skills, including network connectivity
• Ability to move up to 50 lbs and work in small spaces
• Ability and willingness to work in a lab environment
