About the role

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
  • Manage incoming tickets in ServiceNow and assist end users via walk-ins
  • Provide hands-on guidance to end users during issue resolution
  • Conduct root cause analysis and confirm resolutions through testing
  • Provision, image, and configure systems for new hires and contractors
  • Perform full-cycle desktop support for Windows, macOS, and Linux
  • Manage enterprise printers, scanners, and multifunction devices
  • Administer Active Directory and LDAP accounts, groups, and permissions
  • Assist with server, network, and storage administration tasks
  • Document solutions in the IT knowledge base
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of hardware, software, and licenses
  • Procure and track hardware and software assets
  • Collaborate with Enterprise IT teams on best practices and compliance
  • Participate in scheduled off-hours support for critical incidents

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of enterprise IT support experience in a multi-platform environment
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Advanced proficiency with Windows 10/11, macOS, and major Linux distributions
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, VMware, and engineering tools like Matlab
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory administration and Group Policy

Preferred Qualifications

  • CompTIA Security+, Network+, or Linux+ certifications
  • Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
  • Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
  • Proven record of high-quality customer service
