About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2/3 technical support for end-user devices, accounts, and connectivity, owning incidents from triage to resolution.
- Administer the Microsoft 365 environment, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange, and security/compliance settings.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle for IT, including procurement, configuration, and delivery for onboarding, and device recovery and deprovisioning for leavers.
- Maintain accurate hardware and software asset records across global locations (APAC, UK, Malta, and US).
- Support and maintain audio-visual equipment in meeting rooms to ensure reliability.
- Operate with a security-first mindset, assisting with MFA, endpoint protection, conditional access, and phishing response.
- Identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement to reduce recurring support tickets.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in IT support, service desk, or modern workplace support, specifically handling escalated Level 2/3 incidents.
- Strong hands-on experience with a cloud-first Microsoft environment (Microsoft 365, Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, and Intune).
- Practical experience with identity and access management, including SSO, MFA, and conditional access.
- Proficiency in managing Windows 11 and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across networking, collaboration tools, and cloud-based services.
- Ability to document technical processes and create user-facing guidance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant Microsoft certifications such as MD-102, MS-102, SC-300, AZ-104, or AZ-900.
