About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the 1st and 2nd line of technical support for local and global end-users regarding hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot computers, peripherals, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Manage user onboarding and offboarding, including the setup of new IT equipment.
  • Administer Office 365 user accounts, distribution lists, shared mailboxes, and security groups.
  • Handle daily IT support tickets through JIRA ITSM to ensure timely and professional resolutions.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity, including TCP/IP, DNS/DHCP, VLAN access, and Wi-Fi.
  • Support Entra ID and Intune tasks, including user enrollments and access adjustments.
  • Maintain IT inventory and prepare purchase requests for technical equipment and software.
  • Participate in scheduled on-call rotations to support after-hours incidents and critical issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Support Engineering within a corporate environment.
  • Proven experience providing both L1 and L2 technical support.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and switching).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Mac OS, Office 365, and Active Directory/Entra ID.
  • Experience using IT ticketing systems and familiarity with ITIL workflows.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience utilizing Jira or other advanced ITSM ticketing systems.
  • Knowledge of patch management, backup/restore tools, and remote access tools.
  • Understanding of API integrations, SSO, automation workflows, and SaaS management.
