Senior IT Manager

Neon Redwood is a technology and IT services consulting company, delivering managed IT, cybersecurity, and cloud operations for venture capital, private equity, family office, and life-sciences clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support and operations for Neon Redwood and a portfolio of client organizations
• Administer cloud and identity infrastructure across AWS, Google Workspace, SSO platforms, and device management
• Implement and maintain security controls and endpoint protection
• Manage endpoint and device lifecycle including provisioning, onboarding/offboarding, and hardware procurement
• Support compliance and data-retention work for regulated clients
• Manage new-client onboarding, environment setup, and migrations
• Evaluate and test vendor tools
• Support physical IT and office build-outs including networking, AV, and physical security
• Enable AI tooling with appropriate security and compliance guardrails

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on IT experience in a multi-client or multi-entity environment
• Strong hands-on skills with AWS, Google Workspace, Okta, Duo, and device management
• Solid endpoint security and IT operations fundamentals
• Experience providing white-glove support for end users
• Strong documentation habits and clear communication
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in an MSP or fractional-IT model
• Experience supporting regulated industries like financial services or life sciences
• Hands-on experience with Meraki, UniFi, or Verkada
• Familiarity with Box, Smarsh, or backup/DR tooling
• Experience with AI-tool enablement
