About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage and support local network infrastructure including LAN/WAN, switching, routing, and Wi-Fi
- Configure and maintain firewalls and network security controls
- Administer and troubleshoot Cisco Meraki devices (MX, MS, MR)
- Manage Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA) for secure internet and private application access
- Monitor network performance, availability, and security posture
- Provide L2/L3 support for network-related issues
- Implement network segmentation and access controls
- Support VPN, remote access, and secure connectivity solutions
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce policies and controls
- Maintain documentation for network architecture and configurations
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness
Requirements
- 6–10+ years of experience in IT or network engineering
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching)
- Hands-on experience with firewalls and network security
- Experience with Cisco Meraki dashboard, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Experience with Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience supporting enterprise environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud networking (Azure preferred)
- Familiarity with Zero Trust networking concepts
- Experience with monitoring tools and network analytics
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or Zscaler certifications
